About Us…

Cedarwood Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned business that got its start in 2001. The owner, Buddy Patterson and his son Luke wanted to plant over 8 acres of pumpkins. Once the pumpkins came up, they had no idea what to do with them so Buddy’s wife Jan, who is a school teacher, suggested starting a pumpkin patch to educate kids and adults about agriculture. So they decided to start the Pumpkin Patch. The first activities started with just a hay maze in the barn, a corn maze and a petting zoo. Since then it has grown every year. We now plant over 35 acres of pumpkins each year and raise livestock and poultry as well as run a Nursery year-round. We look forward to the fall and there is no other feeling like having people visit your farm while learning and having fun. We strive to put a smile on the face of everyone who walks in the door and hopes to continue to do it for many years to come.
