Safety is the number one priority at Montpelier Farms and we adjust our hours, opening, and closing times accordingly for weather events. Please check our Facebook page for the latest information.
You are visiting a real farm. To dress for success, we recommend wearing clothing comfortable for walking or hiking. Layering for temperate weather or cool days makes sense. Use hats for sun protection. Pay particular attention to footwear. Sneakers or hiking boots are great.
Babies and children of all ages are welcome, just prepare them for the weather & sun. If you plan to venture into our corn maze it wouldn’t be a bad idea at all to bring a stroller! The paths are plenty wide and strollers are welcome in our corn maze or anywhere in the park.
Here at Montpelier Farms, we try to offer and provide as many activities possible to our customers! We do however charge an extra fee for certain activities within the farm. The cost of these activities are passed onto the customer due to Montpelier Farms providing the materials so you may enjoy, if you choose, to take these items home with you. By no means are you required to purchase any extra activities. We do hope that our customers understand that it would be impossible for Montpelier Farms to afford to provide every customer with unlimited scarecrows, painted pumpkins, gem stones, etc., free of charge.
Our picnic area is only for guests who have purchased admission. You are allowed to bring outside food to the park. Most guests prefer to buy food on site and skip the hassle of packing. We're farm folks and have set our prices, and the prices of our vendors, to be affordable for everyone. Our NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES policy applies to picnic baskets, coolers, and our picnic area (unless previously agreed upon through our Pavilion Rental Contract).
