About Us
It’s been over 37 years since we moved from the Meriden side of town to establish Riverview Farm. Our oldest daughter, Amy, was just six months old. Large pine had grown in what is now our oldest part of the orchard.
Amy just built a house on the back side of the farm! She also runs her own gardening business most of the year but really enjoys helping us here in the fall. During the winter months she keeps busy coaching Nordic skiing.

Laura, Dave and their daughter Ella live in Kittery, ME. They work full time, Dave in the education industry and Laura is a wedding invitation consultant at a letter press shop, but enjoy visiting the farm for some R & R. Ella loves all the fresh fruit and seeing her Pops and Gee. There is farm hand potential there but she has yet to master how to work a hoe.

Welcome Steve Jevons! Steve has been with us for 10+ years but has just stepped into the official position of “Farm Manager.” He knows all the ins and outs of the farm as well as the family and we are excited to have him here full time. He is knowledgeable, hard working and creative. He has a mini farm of his own with goats and chickens but he gets his fruit fix here at Riverview. As farms and their owners age, it is important to bring in younger folks to keep the land going. Steve has brought a lot of new energy to the farm and we are grateful for it!
