Sonny Acres Farm is a family-owned and operated pumpkin farm located in West Chicago, IL, since 1883.
Originally settled by first-generation German immigrants Ferdinand and Anna Nagel homesteaded what was eventually to become the Sonny Acres farm. Back then it was known as the Oakwood Farm.
Today, Sonny Acres has new owners keeping the traditions alive and making the farm a vibrant destination.

Where can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets from our main ticket booth and other convenient locations in the park. We accept cash and credit, with ATM’s available for your convenience. It is our goal to limit lines, so your experience is more enjoyable. On the weekends there will be three ticket booths and three ATM machines available. During the week we will have as many opened as to limit lines. Credit cards can also be used at the roasted corn tent, our kitchen, for pizza purchases and at all Sonny Acres stores.
Where can I purchase my pumpkins?
Our full-sized pumpkins during the week are weighed inside our Sales Barn. Alternatively, during our busy weekends, we price your pumpkins by size at our pumpkin stand near the main entrance.
Can I bring my dog to SA?
We are pet friendly, although we do not encourage this. Pets are not allowed during the fall festival.
When will fresh corn become available?
